Conway Stewart LE Collectors Edition 93 of 205

Bought new from The Writing Desk in April 09.

Fitted with a super-smooth FI 18K gold nib (behaves more like a fine stub than a crisp italic)

Perfect ink flow.

Near mint, scarcely used. A few barely noticeable microscratches. A superb writer.

Reason for sale: just received today a superb MI Duro. More line variation fits my writing better, although I must admit the ink flow on the Collectors Edition is much steadier and I may miss her.

Sold with box (diamond shaped) and papers.

Not available anymore from TWD nor Richard Binder. Still priced on CS website at £299/$520/€335.

My price (including Paypal fees and shipping worldwide) is only 195€ or $285.

Here are a few pictures. I didn't mean to be artsy; I just don't know how to take good close pictures. I recommend you take a look at http://www.conwaystewart.com/lfr.php?osCsi...4fa4f1cae442db1 for professionnal photographs and more info.

Maybe I just missed it, but on CS site, I seen Centenary LE and another one, but not 'Collectors' Edition that you refer to...and since your photos are a bit on the fuzzy side (at least to my ol' eyes)...it/s hard for me to correlate...

Can you please clarify which model this is?

:)

I read on another post (can't find it though) that they originally created it for the centenary (hence the 1905-2005 marking ontop of the cap), but have continued to sell it under a different name since. I believe it is exactly the same pen. The 205 numbering also refers to the centenary date 2005.

You can find the story on http://www.swisherpens.com/catalog/compani...ountain-pen.htm.

Best regards,

Julien
