I wonder if this price reduction will continue all around the world??!!

I'm in the UK and will be waiting in expectation!

Easy solution - why don't you just order from Bryant?

I guess its because we don't risk to pay custom when we buy within the EU.

Of course! I forgot about that! Thanks for reminding me.

what ever you do, don't tell Feiye - if the change in price means her currents are now worth less.... (but then again, she can buy more!)

A little help for a newbie. I really woul like to buy a Montegrappa Fountin Pen. In my country i can not find this brand in the luxury stores. A friend of mine in travelling to Paris this week and i would apreciate if someone can point me in the right direction so i can find a Montegrappa boutique. I would really appreciate some address and contacts. The Montegrappa website is under maintenance!

This is good news, I might consider a Montagrappa now it's no longer in the Richmount stable.

You may or may not get hit customs tazes, but your savings might outweigh the taxes you might get hit with... You might want to check, not necessarily with me, but any US distributor...

Cheers!

But it is safe to assume that if distributors are currently selling at -40% on old MSRP, and the new MSRP will be 40% less than then old, when the new prices will be official the savings will be higher?

I know it's confusing but let's assume that now pen is $1.000. You can get it now for $600 using the current promotion.

In two months (let's assume) the new Montegrappa owners will officially price it at $600. Then, I guess, I will be able to get it for - say - $500?

Just wondering...

I understand what you are saying... My prices are based on the NEW prices. I cannot post prices publicly and would not want to turn this post into a complete sales post, but my prices are different than the "New" pricing...

Might be easier if you email me and we can see the prices on paper. :)

Cheers!

Thanks for the new and old price list, Bryant. It is telling to look at the change.

If only OMAS would follow suit!

Thank you, very interesting. It would be that easy if the producers had tables like this on their websites...

As for the Extra not changing: is it because it is the only (captive) piston filler? :hmm1:

So If Kenro is picking/has picked up Montegrappa, is it true Kenro has now lost Visconti? I know Ken Jones knows the Montegrappa brand from his Bertram's days, that's good for Montegrappa, I think. Any idea what happens to the Montegrappa designs? Will there be a "make-over?" Any intelligence on that or is it too early to tell?

Fine Writing lost Visconti's distributorship.

Montegrappa was sold to Aquila and is now distributed by Kenro.

Ken Jones is now at Yafa.

Does the price drop concerns only regular editions?

What about limited editions?
