Hi

I have very recently acquired Pelikan M150 and Pelikan K150 pen set from Ebay. I request members of FPN to tell me rough year/range of manufacturing? Photo attached.

This is my first post so I have trouble attaching image. Hence I have given URL of the item

Please help

Thanks

Nitin

Well you did a good job posting the picture! Welcome to FPN, too.

According to Werner's info-page it is made for the Italian market. Cap top logo looks like it is post-1997 but I won't insist.

I have the same pen and pencil and the BP, all of which I acquire in the US in the early 1970's.

Whoa! :hmm1:

Really quite an accomplishment considering the M150 was not introduced by Pelikan until the mid 80s!

Possibly you are thinking of the 120 with its similar color scheme?

Does an M150 have a deco ring near the filling knob?

It does look like my 170* Anniversario that was produced in 2008 to commemorate the 170° anniversary of the company.

But as the same link will show, Galeria Kaufhof had the same color combination a few years earlier. Anyway nothing earlier than 1997 when the new cap top was introduced.

It's terrible when one gets so old that the generations of time all seem to meld together! You're probably correct about that, the 80's were a wild decade. Thanks for wake-up call.
