My parcel arrived yesterday (just a short 9 days from USA to Malta!!): a 6-pen wrap for my wife and a 2-pen pouch for myself. This is my verdict: extremely well made, very attractive, very useful.

Nan is also extremely courteous and it was a real pleasure to deal with her. It is evident that she takes great pride and care in her product. I have to say that her pride is fully justified.

I have no connection other than being an elated customer.

I have received mine. I would like to add a very positive feedback.

It is big and robust, it can hold more than six pens actually: one slot can fit two slim pens easily. Hence, big pens easily fit.

Mine is sober and nice. Very good quality. Actually protective for the pens.

Pens I use very often: Lamy Accent ("EF": fine), Lamy Accent ("1.1": medium italic), Pilot Custom ("FA": extra-fine flexible).

I got my pen wrap a couple of days ago. It is made from a new fabric called Japanese Silverwaves.

The pen wrap is exquisite and the workmanship is impeccable. Thank you very much Nan.

To those who have contacted me by e-mail lately -- I have been having problems accessing my Gmail for the past few days. The issue still hasn't been resolved as of now so... My sincere apologies if you haven't received my replies.

For the time being, please PM me instead.

Also, I'm in the process of re-organizing my albums. I'll make an announcement when they're ready.

Finally, a big THANK-YOU to every supporting kind soul. :)

I have yet to receive my pen wrap, but I must really commend Nan for her patience. She is hardly like your typical seller who is only interested in closing the sale, instead she took me through the fabric as well as the ornament selection step by step, and is very meticulous and attentive to details. At one point when I had to choose the ornament to adorn the pen wrap, she was kind enough to send me photos with all the matching ornamental jade stones lined up against the pen wrap for me to choose. Even after I had made up my mind which jade stone I wanted, she allowed me ample time to rethink about my choice. I have no doubts at all the finished product that will be delivered to me will be of the most exquisite workmanship and quality. :cloud9:

A nice BUMP for a nice seller !!!

Having said that, a nice teaser as follows:

Don't you think the stone looks like a rising sun from the waves ?

Here's another recommendation from me, and a very high one at that. I've now, in my possession, a total of four pen pouches and three pen wraps from Nan and Ling. They are beautiful, and perfect compliments to my small, but growing, fountain pen collection. I am a heavy user of my pens, save for two or three, which I keep in a silk dragon pouch from Nan and Ling (not pictured below). Excellent craftsmanship, even better customer interaction (I can't really call it service, because it goes above and beyond that).

A Bump for Nan and Ling,

I ordered a custom-made pen pouch, with a few requests (1. able to hold 2 Safari Pens, 2 thinner diameter PCLs and a ruler 2. to be a bit wider so that I wouldn't have to squeeze the pen out from the bottom like toothpaste 3. Pens would not be clipped onto the penpouch). Not only did she address those issues, she also gave me other recommendations on how to make the pen pouch work for me. Instead of making it wider, she made it shallower, so that the pen tops would still stick out and I could grab them out. She also provided me recommendations on the fabric, as I told her that I would carry it in my pocket.

Here's the kicker though, she actually made 1 pouch first, and later e-mailed me and informed me that she had actually made improvements on a new pouch, and would be sending me both for me to pick from.

I've been receiving comments the whole of today just carrying my pen pouch around :)

Attached are some shots (iPhone and I have shaky hands so bear with me)

My two wraps just landed this morning - silk wraps because I don't take pens to work or anywhere else - and they are just beautiful!

Thank you for excellent products Nan! They traveled to Australia in perfect condition, very well and professionally packed - and now sit waiting for me to decide which pens will live in them..........what a delicious decision!!

Each day is the start of the rest of your life!

Make it count!!!

After reading all of the comments on these and looking at the wonderful photos, I decided to order one. Nan went out of her way to send me a few samples to check out. She is truly a class-act. I couldn't be happier with the wrap that arrived in the mail yesterday. A beautiful combination of black English wool and a black faux suede lining that I will happily use for years to come!
