I'm waiting for Iroshizuku Yama-budo.

You won't believe when I tell you that I'm waiting four months already! :( It was a group shopping, from polish fountain pen forum. The seller sent a packet by boat. Inks already arrived to Poland, but the person who took them, and will send to us, just went on vacation, so I have to wait 2-3 weeks more.... :(

And I need to pick up Pelikan Edelstein Amethyst from the stationary shop, One bottle is waiting for me ;)

I didn't check, but are they in jewel bottles or normal ones? I think they switched.

I think they're in the normal ones. (I didn't look either). I have them both in the vase bottles back in the UK so either bottle style is fine with me :-)

I'm impatiently waiting for:

Graf Von Faber Castell: Deep Sea Green

Edelstein: Aquamarine, Tanzanite, Jade & Mandarin Orange

Rohrer & Klingner: Fernambuk, Sepia, Verdura & Salix

Diamine: Rustic Brown & Syrah

It's gonna be a while until they get here, since they're coming from La Couronne du Comte.

I'm waiting for a mail from the Goulets that General Of The Armies is back in stock.

Four hours later: The Goulet Pen Company just sent me a mail, that it's back in stock! A miracle!

On this day, the anniversary of my birth, J. Herbin's Caroube de Chypre, the newest ink in the 1670 collection, became available to order from my preferred retailer, so of course I jumped on it!

Happy birthday to me!

It has already shipped and everything :)

These have arrived today from a a new business start up, the Magdale Ink Company I have tried them out and they are all good bright inks, not chemically based. All are full free flowing inks.

What do you mean by "not chemically based?" Surely all inks are based on chemicals of some kind of another.

Agreed, even water is a chemical=H2O (dihydrous monoxide).

Not waiting for them anymore.

My shipment from xFountainPens, referenced here, arrived.

I must say that they don't share Goulet Pens' predilection for defensive packaging. The six bottles of ink were just in a bag with no dunnage (padding) at all.

Everything arrived all right though.

So now I've got:

  • Chesterfield Amethyst
  • Chesterfield Night Sapphire
  • Chesterfield Antique Yankee
  • Chesterfield Mahogany
  • Chesterfield Emerald
  • Chesterfield Capri

to look at. And I'm still looking for glass bottles to store them in permanently. It's not that I needed more ink, but now that I've gotten this batch I have to climb back on the wagon, below, and get to trying these inks out. I'm hoping that they'll mix well with my Noodler's inks.

With I could find some more really inexpensive powdered ink. But I don't need any more ink!
