LOL..

You can say I am biased... but Honey is NO Golden Brown.... I think Honey is much richer and better behave, plus you get sheen with Honey.

Have you tried Cigar... I am putting my money that you will fall in love with CIGAR.... and maybe make an "honest" ink out of it..

OH indeed, Cigar & I have a "thing!" BUT it is special because it is my "in between PERFECT Brown & Murky Green!"

Today I was also happy with Omas Sepia, a recent purchase in a Conway Stewart Churchill with a Italic Broad nib. I am pretty sure I have a commitment issue, I am quickly able to see each new ink's "special qualities, appreciate them BUT soon ready to "meet" the next candidate. Earlier this week I was happy to notice the similarity between Hieronymus Brown One & Herbin's Cacoa du Bresil & then only a day later Visvamitra introduced me to Papier Plume's Pecan; which was ordered last nite so I can "look at the THREE Brown/Grays.

I like them ALL! I suppose it is the "Pretty, Shiny" effect usually seen in pens but inks are usually an easier acquisition so I don't try very hard. Especially since I headed the wise advice of White Lotus to avoid the Sailors & discover the many other interesting inks. Somehow "playing the field" in the land of inks doesn't seem as dangerous as the the same attitude with pens or people.

AND after seeing the bottle of Cigar that Atsu is currently offering on Ebay hitting $92.00 with three days to go.........I may have to use it sparingly! The Hakase Dark Sepia seems "not so expensive" in comparison. I fear a nite with Cigar may require "imported" champagne instead of "domestic!"

You have been busy. Let me know your thoughts on O'Sunset. I was disappointed.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

The sample you sent me, I thought it was really meh. But I ordered a bottle just in case. I hated Sweet Potato Yellow at first but it grew on me.

Nothing for a while. Last would be my restock of 54th, but I'm looking for a good foundational purple to counter the green.

It's those blasted ink reviews! Pushing my ink budget to the limit. XcO

Hoping O-Sunset will be a nice addition as I don't have many reds, oranges or reddish orange inks. Mayhaps this ink has a touch of coral undertone? One can hope, one can hope.
