Have three bottles of Iroshizuku ( Chiku-rin, Yama-budo, and Kujyaku) sitting at the campus post office right now. I'm a few hundred miles away on spring break, but I'm dying to try them out. These will be my first experience with Iro inks.

I'm excited to say the least.

Iroshizuku is a really nice ink line, it writes real nice. I hope you enjoy it.

OMG... OMG... OMG.... My friend just sent me samples of Irori, Rikyu Cha, King Mokusei and Waka-Uguiso..

C.

That's great. What a nice friend :-)

I really didn't have any plans to get any of the recent re-releases, as I'll have to cart them back to the UK later this year, but this week I ended up with bottles of the same colours as your samples, plus another Joyful-2 Purple Heart, as a back-up to refill my vase bottle, and a bottle of Fukurou. Oh yes, and yet a other bottle of Do-you; one of my top 3 inks ever. I'll have to ditch my clothes & just pack inks!

Those are fantastic colors! I've yet to hit a dud in the Iroshizuku line. B)

I'm currently waiting for these three bottles:

Pelikan 4001 Dark Green

Pelikan Edelstein Aquamarine

Standardgraph Violet

I'm also waiting for a 100ml bottle of Penman Sapphire clone from Tekker inks... :puddle:

I finally got these three bottles today. Here I compare the three with Kon-Peki:

PS. I got the "Penman Sapphire clone" from Tekker and am sad to report I got the hex number wrong (not Tekker's fault). Now I have a 100ml bottle of a nice dark blue.

That's it, Infinite Grey! Thanks. We obviously have similar good taste. :) What do you think of the grey?

I like it, it looks a little green and once it dries it's a nice grey. So far my top grey inks are DA Silver Grey and Diamine Grey. Infinite Grey might be like MB's Oyster Grey- it might get a bit darker as it sits in the pen. I am planning on putting it in a flex pen to see the difference. You will have to let me know what you think.

I am blown with Rikyu-Cha... the pic (under florescent lighting) makes it look very green... but is just like Cigar.. Brown-Green with copper sheen... :puddle: :puddle:

I agree with Cyber6 - they are similar. Here is what they look like on a Mnemosyne Word card. This card doesn't show the sheen.

I bought the Stationery Box Blue on eBay. There is at least one bottle still listed--search for Fans-Oriented Sailor Limited Edition Ink EI Publishing House Blue 50ML. The Quadrifoglio was from our old friend Atsu. The Montblanc inks came back in stock on the MB US web site and I ordered them from there.

I just received my very, very first bottle of ink in the mail today.

I wanted something deep and black and had heard good things about the Diamine brand so took a gamble on this bottle as it was at a reduced price on Amazon.

It wasn't until it arrived that I realized just how much 80ml is :)

Congrats on your first bottle of inky joy. I know it'll be the first of many. :) Just FYI, Diamine also comes in 30mL bottles.

Two days ago: Pelikan Edelstein Aquamarine.
