The good folks at Pelikan in Germany have assured me that the ink inside their 4001 blue/black cartridges is the exact same stuff as what's in their bottles. It's great news, as this ink is a favourite b/b ink, unavailable here in Canada.

Now, I'm waiting for a stash of Pelikan 4001 Blue/black cartridges to safely arrive from Cult Pens. With luck, Canada Post may follow the sender's directions, to request a signature for the packet.

If that be,...then I can get my unfrozen carts from our village post office,...if not, then...... :crybaby:

Waiting for my first bottle of Edelstein ink :x. The Topaz one. Any comments on it?

Gorgeous color, well-behaved on decent paper, a wee bit dry so perfect for broad, wet nibs (which many of mine are). I hope you love it.

Pelikan Edelstein Turmaline, Diamine Wild Strawberry... I like these vibrant colours.

Nice! Both good colours. The Wild Strawberry has a nice silvery green sheen

Still waiting for several Tekker custom inks. If these are well-behaved, they are going to have a lot of business. It would be nice if they kept us early adopters better informed.

I don't think they were ready for the deluge. You have to admit, we all stormed the fortress :D

They probably didn't know how many insane ink fanatics there are out here. Still, it would be nice to know that someone has received something.

I think, because I sent out so many samples this past month, that the ink gods smiled on me. I happened to post on Ravelry, the below picture which I think is awesome and funny, and showed up on ebay, when I searched for Organic Studios Da Vinci Golden Mind. I said I kind of wanted to buy it and send it to the church in Spain in the linky: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/spain/9492805/19th-century-church-fresco-destroyed-by-rogue-DIY-pensioner.html

Someone sent me a PM saying she had the above listed inks, had only done either 3ml samples or inked once, didn't like them. She sold the lot to me for $35.00 I was so happy.

I haven't even tried the sample you sent yet. I saw it on paper and fell in love. Is it wrong to have love at first sight for a liquid?

Just ordered what I suspect is the last available bottle of Noodler's Catalpa for sale in Australia. Sadly, there is no Australian distributor any more, and none of the bricks and mortar shops here have Noodler's in stock now. Just one local online retailer ...

Cheers,

Effrafax.

WAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. I've been looking for that for ages. I was able to secure two bottles of Coral Sea, but the color of the ink inside was NOT Coral Sea. (It actually looks more like Catalpa)..

Congrats Mate!!!

Just received some goodies from La Couronne du Comte.

I really love the wrapping they do, without me requesting it! :)

Luckily they had packed the goods properly, because the box was severely damaged. Don't know if I shall blame the Duch or the Swedish postal service. Anyway, the bottles are in perfekt condition.

Thanks. I actually bought their last bottle of Coral Sea too, as I only had less than half a bottle left. When I bought that, I ordered their second-to-last Catalpa, and ordered the last one as I really liked the colour and how it behaved.

I must check that Coral Sea and make sure it's the real deal!
