I currently have an order from La Couronne du Comte which consists of:

Pelikan Edelstein Amethyst

J Herbin Gris Nuage

J Herbin Perle Noir

J Herbin Lie de Thé

J Herbin Cacao du Brésil

If you don't mind me asking, what is "La Couronne Du Comte"? Some store which keeps stationary supplies? Edited by Mew

Where precisely did you locate a "few bottles of Parker Penman Sapphire"? EoC was gifted a small sample and had thought to acquire a bottle, but they are not exactly common, and often when they appear on eBay they go for unrealistic prices.

Hello EoC,

I am getting them from a guy who seems to be having unlimited supply (at least he never said no to me so far).

I thought that I had enough green inks. I mean, J. Herbin's Lierre Sauvage seemed to be the ultimate for me. But nooo…

Hardly. In an earlier life perhaps, but not now.

I understand, so may be it's easier to look for another source

Some Diamine 30ml bottles to christen my new M800 Grand Place:

Ochre

Raw Sienna

Macassar

Sargasso Sea

(That last one isn't going within 5cm of my M800, based on the clean-up nightmares I've heard. Should do well in a second-hand Royal Blue Cross Century II though ;) )

I have a bottle of Edelstein Topaz and Pelikan Royal Blue inbound from Goulet's. The Royal Blue mixes with the Brilliant Black at a 6:1 ratio to make a very pleasant blue-black.

I recently mixed up a batch of 5:1 = Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue : Noodler's Black. It also produced a rather nice blue/black ink, which I used in a Noodler's piston filling fountain pen.

Given all of the blue ink I have, and rather a bit of Noodler's Black ink that I have, I could mix up a lot of variations on blue/black, and over the years I probably will.

On a sacred quest for the perfect blue ink mixture!

First time poster; long time follower. Waiting for 54th Massachusetts (and a new "51" Special that's thirsty). Feeling slightly guilty about the purchases over the weekend but I expect that's a common feeling among FP enthusiasts.

Some pictures of this mix would be nice. ;)
