I'm waiting for two Noodler's bottles: Dark Matter and Burma Road Brown.

Was thinking of ordering Manjiro Nakahama Whalemen's Sepia, but wondering if its being bulletproof will make it hard to rinse from my pens.

Try greenman508 on eBay. I just ordered Dark Matter from him last night and it mailed today. He seems to have many of the Russian series, the British Empire series, V-Mail Series, etc. And great top positive feedback.

Noodler's Green Marine - for this year's Christmas cards.

I know it's only October, but it's better to prepare early than be out of luck later.

2 x Pelikan Brilliant Black 30ml bottles

1 x Lamy Blue-Black bottle (haven't used this ink before - I'm looking forward to trying an iron gall type ink)

I have the Manjiro Nakahama Whalemen's Sepia, and I have to admit that it must be a very special pen (which I have not found yet) that can write smoothly with it. I like the understated color, but it feels thick to be a fountain pen ink. It tends to make my pens noisy on the paper (scrape, scratch, ssss, sssh etc.).

It also smells funny. I would like to try it in an excessively wet writer to see what happens. I am currently hoping it works better with the Lamy AL-Star italic 1.1 I have on order, but am not expecting much. The funny thing is that after you are done writing with it, it actually looks pretty good if you like that dark taupe look.

Pear Tree Pens sample pack: Diamine Blaze Orange and Woodland Green; PR DC Supershow Blue; and Waterman Red.

I love the smell of fountain pen ink in the morning.
