What ink(s) are you waiting for in the mail?

I loaded it into my Homo Sapiens broad (and very wet). The colour is darker then I expected. Really nice. Then tried it in a fine OMAS and it's not as satisfactory, a lot closer to your Taranis. As you say, different pens create such different results, which is a good thing and excuses a never-ending search for the perfect ink.

Ooo, it must be near black out of the Homo Sapiens!

As for differing results, perhaps that's why when I hit on a great pen ink combo I tend to stick with it and buy more pens to fill the ink void :wallbash:

This is the inky goodness that followed me home from the Chicago Pen Show. Yes that is 2 Akkermans and the Noodlers is Baystate Blue.

Now I'm out of money.

60 ink bottles are already too much

Funny that's the one I'm waiting for too. My better half's favourite pen has a very wet Japanese fine nib that lays down an oversaturated very fine line. We tried Diamine Grape and it looked black with her pen. I could dilute but it works well with other pens, so we thought of testing the Amazing Amethist for use with this particular pen.

I'm currently waiting for Diamine red dragon, onyx black, and blaze orange. There will be more on the way soon too once I've decided what I want - bilberry, sherwood green, and meadow are strong possibilities.

Tried Sailor Sky High and Grenade. Really liked them so there are bottles on the way (Epinard, too ...). I got a sampler pack from Goulet's the other day that had a few tempting colors (like Platinum blue-black, Omas red, and Diamine misty blue), but I'll try to resist for the time being.
