What ink(s) are you waiting for in the mail?

I haven't purchased ink in ages, but now I'm waiting for bottles of Sailor Shikiori Miruai, Monteverde Jade Noir, Monteverde Iced Cookie (2nd bottle), Robert Oster Dragon's Night and J. Herbin Bleu des Profondeurs.  I've also ordered samples of Monteverde Green and Monteverde Rose Noir.  Ordered the Lamy Al-Star Lilac also.  When I fell off the wagon I really made a thud.

Hmm...lessee....5, 6, 7? Okaaay!!

That's over a half-dozen containers, so that makes it official;

it's a "haul".  🔏

If I said I'll fix it, I will. There's no need to remind me every 6 months.

Just knocked out two. One I had had a sample of in the past, but never pulled the trigger and something new.

Akkerman Vorhout Violet in the cool 60 ml bottle- I had a sample once upon a time, and liked it.

Visconti Van Gogh series - Starry Night

Robert Oster's Muddy Swamp.

What I really wanted was just a couple of spare reservoirs for the Sailor Hocoro pens and looking around to make it worth the postage cost for those. Spotted the Robert Oster inks and remembered namrehsnoom's reviews: here and here. Done!

Will work for pens...

My last order to Vanness included a sample of Muddy Swamp and a sample of Papier Plume's Bayou Nightfall -- for basically the same reason (namrehsnoom's Ink Shootout between the two).  And I don't normally even LIKE murky greens.... :headsmack:

So...... I am selfishly hesitant to alert everyone since I am not going to be able to order for a while but vanness has troublemaker ink now. Quite a selection at that.

I found a 30 mL bottle of Thornton’s Luxury Goods Yellow for $6.99 on the Bay. From what I read, it’s the house brand of a FP store outside of. Chicago. First time buying this brand, we’ll see how it does for coloring in beaks.

Top 5 of 19 currently inked pens:

MontBlanc 144 IB, Herbin Orange Indien/ Wearingeul Frost

Sailor x Daimaru Central Rockhopper Penguin PGS mini, Sailor Wonder Blue

Goulet had a sale on ink samples...so I bought 3x 2ml samples of "Yama Guri" instead of buying a full bottle...lol.
The first sample of it (2x) is still running in my pen from over a month ago. GREAT ink...but I haven't been inspired to buy a full bottle yet.

I have two new to me Ink Vent calendars. I haven't even opened them.  I'm excited. I just need to clean off my desk so that I can ink pens.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

A fountain pen friend was selling his full bottle of Japan-only Sailor Koromebi, a murky dark olive, so I jumped on it. Great price too.

Macchiato Man has a great review here: https://macchiatoman.com/blog/2020/6/27/ink-review-sailor-onago-iro-02-komorebi (photo below is hotlinked from there)

*Really* looking forward to it!

I finally ordered a bottle of Sailor Blue. I previously bought the Blue before in cartridge form (back when I think it was 'Jentle'), around the turn of the millennium.

Five bottles of Jinhao ink in the 3001 series: two different blues (and both are literally just labelled as Blue on the box in English, although the Chinese names are different), Bluish Violet, Sunny Orange, and Brown.
