I tried ordering it from an eBay vendor in the UK a few years ago but either they weren't allowed to ship to the US or weren't allowed to ship it out of the UK (forget which now) so I just gave up looking.

Will Cult Pens and/or La Couronne du Comte ship it to you in the US? They are from where I got mine in the past; but then of course there is no restriction to importing it into Australia.

Pretty much everything I have is a blue or black type ink.

I left my comfort zone and ordered Yama-Guri.

Ordered Noodler's Black-red and J. Herbin Vert de Gris from Purepens! along with a tomoe river notebook, a preppy and a glass dip pen. They have good service and shipping prices for Brazil.

Waiting for two Akkerman bottles from the Netherlands, Shocking Blue and SBREBrown. They won't be arriving directly to my home, as they are part of an order placed by several people so as to cut down on postage and packing, but I expect to receive them in a week or so.

I always have a pen inked with Noodlers Black-Red since I very much enjoy the color.

Well I have used up my samples of Ink Studio #s 343 (that's my zone, apparently!) and 452 (another Pousierre-ish?), but have been waiting for an additional, non-superfluous option "to qualify for free shipping" . . .

Oh look, there it is, Sailor Shimoyo! I don't write with Blue much, but that looks gorgeous! "Slate*" was an early quest that I never got to the end of!

* - by which I mean Slate as a tertiary color, the dull blue arising from a mixture of the secondaries purple and green. I have some lovely purple and green slatey colors, but not that one in the middle!

That is the 30ml variant, the one i bought is 62.5ml. Regardless, it comes up to the same price so it's great that we have some bottles available!

And it turns out to be a mislabelled Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue. Returned it and now have the 30ml variant being sent over. If I happen to love the ink, I'll buy from cult pens in the future. Ends up being much cheaper VS Amazon.

A couple from the Monarca lineup:

Cardona, & Rey Jaguar.

Anyone know these?

I got 99 problems but a BIC ain't one!

If I said I'll fix it, I will. There's no need to remind me every 6 months.

Fantastic - & mucho thanks!

After seeing a rather poorly-done or psychoreactive hiccup at the moment the shutter flew (¿) foto-swatch, sheer curiosity as much as any practicality bade me wanton to see what kinda mess I might make with some!  In truth, I had an idea it was a full-blooded Super Those Thingers - some of the samplings I saw looked right crusty.

And, the Rey or King Jaguar, well-l, I needed a bit more to get the freight, & besides, seemed like a pretty cool cause.

I am waiting for a new bottle of Aurora Blue ink.  This will be my third bottle of this particular ink, my last bottle was purchased in 2011 and I am using the last of the ink in that bottle now.  I am using the ink in an extra fine Lamy 2000 which has an exceptional nib, but requires a wetter ink with a high ink flow to make it shine.  The Aurora Blue is nice and lubricated as well.  I see Aurora has a blue-black ink now, I may try a bottle when this one runs out in 2033 or so.

Pen(s) in Rotation:

Majohn A2 (Fine) - Montblanc Irish Green

Parker "51" Aerometric (Broad, England) - Waterman Black

Lamy 2000 Ballpoint - Lamy Black Medium Refill

So I received the Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black around 2 weeks ago and had plenty of time to test it out. I have to say, it is quickly becoming one of my favorite inks! I love the shade of blue-black that you end up with. The only issue is that it is kind of dry even compared to R&K Salix. So far the best for me has been MBMB and Akkerman #10.

I have 10 bottles of Montblanc Midnight Blue (Old IG Formulation) coming soon, so I am pretty ecstatic about that!

Just one: a small bottle of Diamine Prussian Blue hoping it will be a similar colour to J Herbin Vert de Gris, but wet enough to work properly.

Will work for pens...

Distinctly different to my eye but still a keeper. Diamine Prussian Blue is a staple ink for me.

Been waiting for this one awhile, just got advance in-stock notice so snagged one. Shaffer Renegade Blue, with that uber-kewl new old bottle & all!

Any comments on usability of the bottle?  I find the Bungubox with build in inkwell doesn't work so well for certain pens that require more depth of dip.

Having not received it just yet, can't say. But, here's further info I've been able to glean from 2-3 sites:

An ad shows the 30ml/1oz bottle as 6cm/2.5" tall. Then, from a couple of the blurbs:
"Sheaffer revamped its fountain pen ink bottle and introduced nine new colors in a completely new, yet retro ink bottle and packaging.

The ink bottle features the return of the iconic ‘bird’s nest’ that helps users dip their pen in a top well of the ink bottle avoiding unwanted ink stains. [A feature I'm exceedingly happy to see return!]
The shallow well protects hands from ink, as only the nib is dipped. Also maximizes the amount of ink drawn into the pen to reduce waste. [Via depiction, if not dead-on identical to the older ones, looks very close.]
Free flowing ink with lubricating properties.
Non Staining, non feathering and low bleed through. Vegan Friendly. Safe for all pens.
Colors can be blended.  [To which: Uh Oh!!]
10-year shelf life with cap secured. [Always, or still, after a quick sip??] [Procrastinating minds want to know!]
30 ml / 1 oz

And then it adds:  "Made in China"
However, other spots declare their inks are made for Shaeffer in Slovenia. I'm wondering if the Ukraine situation might have temporarily changed the course of things.

Darn that Pen Chalet buy one get one offer. I ordered Colorverse Mars Curiosity, which I’ve wanted, and that gets a free Colorverse Nebula notebook. I’ve also been wanting the Hubble and HST ink. No deal with it, except on sale. Plus I had a 10% off code.
