Ecclesiastical Stationery Supplies Registrars Ink - my first iron gall ink. Hope it's not a long wait for the mail from the UK to the Old Dominion...

Diamine time. Just ordered 80ml bottles of the following, but already thinking of stocking up on the Sepia and I haven't even tried it yet - I adore the way it looks in the reviews.

Saddle Brown

Sepia

Raw Sienna

Sapphire Blue

Kelly Green

You'll love the Sepia, I hope -- I do. It's sober enough for continuous writing and at the same time bright enough for markup. (I also like Saddle Brown and especially Raw Sienna.) But I hope your experience with Kelly Green is better than mine -- it doesn't just cause nib creep in every pen I've tried it in, but throws a deposit that makes it look like the nib has grown moss. A crying shame, because it's such a great color!

Curses. Got an email (yesterday! that'll teach me to pay more attention to the PC) that Sepia is sold out, as are a couple of others. Every cloud and all that - have substituted China Blue, Amaranth and Vermillion for those that are out of stock. Not choices that I'd normally go for, but should be quite interesting to try them out.

Got the other inks in, and I decided to pick up a few flex pens as Christmas gifts. I'll be giving large samples of ink along with them.

Here's what's on the way:

J. Herbin Bouton D'or

J. Herbin Perle Noire

J. Herbin Rose Cyclamen

J. Herbin Rouge Hematite 1670 Anniversary Ink

(yeah, I really like J. Herbin Inks :D )
