Indeed, here are two images of the ink: a comparison with other blues with sheen and a close up of the pennonia.

Optik paper "Touch"

Looks good! Fingers crossed you follow up the swabs with some writing samples 😃🤞

Which is great timing, as I am getting into teal inks recently...

I wouldn't call it "teal".  It's bright turquoise blue (I think of "teal" as being darker and possibly greener).

Thanks! I look forward to seeing it. From the pictures I see online, the ink does seem to have a slight green tinge, but that could be my imagination. Remember, I am the one who insisted Edelstein Topaz had violet tones, until I realized I was filling from a bottle of Sapphire sitting next to the Topaz... :)

Well that's not as bad as grabbing the wrong box and bottle one time, and refilling a pen with Noodler's Old Manhattan instead of Manhattan Blue.... :headsmack:

Oh, the ink just came, BTW.  Thanks!  Hopefully you should be getting the Skrip Peacock in a couple of days.

I hope it came intact. I did pack it securely, but in a soft padded envelope.

You're good.  While I haven't opened the ziplock bag yet, it seems to have come through the mail just fine, with no leakage.

Cartridges of Sailor Jentle Blue and Kaweco Midnight Blue, to be received on the 7th.

Does Platinum Mixable Ink dilution liquid, which arrived today with 21 fountain pens (each supplied only with ink cartridges but no converters), count as ink? I would probably say it's not ink on account of not having any dye or pigment component with which to mark paper or other substrate visibly; but the Noodler's Ink Blue Ghost counts as ink (and “bulletproof” ink at that, although I don't find it so “proof” against prolonged soaking).

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Given what it is, I'd lean more towards the Anti-Ink.

But as long as there's Algebra, it can count as anything.

Where'd you order that from, if you don't mind me asking?

Perhaps Cult Pens? Though my calculations show it should be more like $127 Canadian with a double discount ;)

Now that they have the 50ml bottles, the 30ml Kaweco bottles that used to go for $14-16 are now $8. So I ordered Black, Royal Blue, Midnight Blue, Caramel, and Ruby Red. I thought about trying their Green, too, but I have a bottle of 4001 Dark Green that I like plenty well enough.

And to get to Vanness free shipping, I added a bottle of Waterman Mysterious Blue. (see how they get ya? To avoid $4 in shipping, I spent another $11.30 🤣)

Also, I had my $20 rewards credit and a 10% coupon at Pen Chalet, so I ordered bottles of Lamy Black, Blue, and Blue-Black. With shipping, it cost me about $11. I'll take it to have some solid essential inks on hand.

I've now got a bottle of Akkerman Delfts Blue in the mail -- I got a notification email from Vanness that it was back in stock.  And just for good measure, a sample of Noodler's Akhmatova.

Yinz are all such a bad influence on me on this website....

I'll try to do a proper review soon.

Meanwhile here are a few more views, this ink is great!

Cult Pens. First time ordering from them and the shipping from UK will have taken less than 2 weeks!

If there were a top ten most beautiful ink of all time I say Skrip Peacock would be in near the top. Wish there were a lost warehouse somewhere with enumerable boxes -- I'm more than happy to wield a syringe and distilled water for that ink. I have one lonely cart. left now.
