Noodler's Legal Lapis

"No one can be a great thinker who does not recognize that as a thinker it is his first duty to follow his intellect to whatever conclusions it may lead. Truth gains more even by the errors of one who, with due study, and preparation, thinks for himself, than by the true opinions of those who only hold them because they do not suffer themselves to think." -J.S. Mill, On Liberty

I got a Goulet order today! Very well packed... happy happy joy joy! It included a full bottle of Iroshizuku syo-ro, which is as wonderful as the reviews say! It also included a BUNCH of samples for my wish list-- six more Iroshizukus (I'm testing Fuyu-gaki right now and hope it gets more intense as I use it) and three PRs. (I'm testing Naples Blue.)

I think I'll be making another Goulet order very soon. The samples are a great size-- they'll give me plenty of time to really see how the ink behaves!

I too have placed an order with Goulet - which hasn't arrived yet (wail).

Full bottles of Iroshizuku Kon-Peki and Momiji,

plus samples of another couple of Iroshizukus and Noodlers Kung-te-Cheng. My only problem with the samples is that pens with really big nibs (MB149, Jinhao X750) won't slurp the ink directly from the containers - I had to use a syringe to fill the converter on my X750 from the Kon-Peki sample in last month's ink drop, for example.

After many years (around ten or so) I'm finally getting some brown inks. Waiting for Noodler's:

Polar Brown

#41 Brown

Red-Black

and Nightshade

Now I just have to wait a month to get them delivered. wacko.gif *grumble* *grumble*

Diamine Syrah

J. Herbin Gris Nuage

J. Herbin 1670

Noodler's Tiennamen

Pelikan Edlestein Aventurine

Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki

All samples, but i'm getting one or two of these bottles by the end of the summer. The ones that peak my interest are Syrah and Aventurine. Looking forward to trying out all of these inks in my new pens too :)

If you have an orange Lamy Safari you'd be willing to part with, PM me immediately.

I'm not really waiting for the them in the mail, I'm waiting for the "courier" with the inks in the bag.

My husband is coming back home from Canada and he got me 2 inks in Victoria. He got them 2 weeks ago and he only told me they're J.Herbin inks, not leaking any more information! :gaah:

So now I'm looking forward to my husband AND the two new inks  and they'll all need attention!
