Burma Road Brown and Zhivago (both Noodler's)

However, I just jotted down a list of inks I'd love to add..... 17 inks.... on the "want" list. EEK!

I haven't decided which ones will be next... there are a couple I really want from Diamine, J. Herbin and PR, as well as more Noodlers. How do you guys deal with the ink addiction? The pen addiction is bad enough!

Ok, LAST POST!

My inks came from RefillMonster today, so I'll be playing with Diamine reds for a while. And since it was brought to my attention that there, indeed, did exist a thread on this topic, I would really appreciate if we all made our way over there.

I enjoy hearing of everyone's ink adventures - let's continue it in the Original Thread!

Cheers,

Jon

It is weird: after six weeks in, I'm definitely at a stopping point with pens. I've got enough now to have fun, and enjoy the experience of writing while still having a few that look and behave differently.

But inks??

I just received a box with two Diamines today, and I'm already trying to decide whether to do a new round of ink samples or plow further into the "waiting list" of inks. Oh, sure, they're in the (>$10, <$30) range, but they add up. Nonetheless, my mind can't wrap around that concept, and I see small boxes coming to me in the mail in the future...

Have two bottles of Noodler's #41 Brown coming from Goulet - one of my favorite browns and I've heard it is being discontinued (although Goulet just got in a shipment). By the way, can I add to everyone else's comments about how nice the Goulets are to deal with? Super people, great service. (usual disclaimers, of course)

my first bottle of iroshizuku! (tsuki-yo)

That was my first bottle of Iro ink, as well. Then I got another, and then things got out of hand - now I have: asa-gao, fuyu-gaki, kon-peki, ku-jaku, Momiji, Tsuki-yo, Tsukushi, Yama-budo, and Yu-yake. So I have great colors, but a lot less money. Well spent, I'd say!

Diamine Twilight. And I still need a signature ink, might be diamine twilight but then again it needs a nib with good shading properties.

Ordered a set of 5 Wancher Colorful Silk Road inks from enjeika on ebay, on a whim. Know nothing about them, but I needed some non-bulletproof inks and the shipping was cheap since I had just bid successfully on a Sapporo Mini as well.

Old World Iron Gall

The liberty of the press is indeed essential to the nature of a free state; but this consists in laying no previous restraints upon publications, and not in freedom from censure for criminal matter when published. Every freeman has an undoubted right to lay what sentiments he pleases before the public; to forbid this, is to destroy the freedom of the press; but if he publishes what is improper, mischievous or illegal, he must take the consequence of his own temerity.
