I've decided to hoard Diamine Damson - 3 bottles on the way! Also samples of other Diamine inks: China Blue, Midnight Blue, Prussian Blue and Twilight. (How can you tell I'm looking for a new blue?) Oh, and a sample of Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses.

Eclat de saphir.

Continuing my journey in search of the perfect blue... Baystate Blue just didn't do it for me.

Have bottles of BayState Blue and Aurora Black sent to sister-in-laws in Florida to collect when there on holiday. These inks are a rare as hens teeth in the UK.

Yesterday is history.

Tomorrow is a mystery.

Today is a gift.

That's why it's called the present

(I searched and couldn't find this topic, a parallel to the "What pen..." topic in the Writing Instruments forum. If it is a duplicate, I'll fix)

So, I'm waiting on an order of Diamine Red Dragon and Diamine Poppy Red. I'm trying to find something as close as possible to J. Herbin 1670 Rouge Hematite, which I had a sample of. I love that color terribly, but it was exhibiting difficulties in an assortment of pens, and I'm looking for a more trouble-free solution. Red Dragon is *awfully* close in color (no, none of the 'gold' tinging...) and the application of a little of the brighter Poppy Red might do the trick.

Anyway, I hope to have them in a day or two. How about you?

Waiting for bottles of PR American Blue and Spearmint, Sheaffer Skrip Red and Blue, J. Herbin 1670, and Noodler's Bulletproof Black; as well as a ton of samples. :)

Also waiting to get out of this splint (dislocated kneecap a bit ago) to go to a local shop to get some MB Irish Green.

Sanford Pen-It violet, in the the cute little bottles

But I think it's going parcel post and will take an unnecessarily long time if it turns out that the lot would have fit into a medium Priority Mail box.

I thought mine would be here today. It wasn't. I'm bummed.

Oh (bleep)! What should I do - direct people to post over there? Ask the mods to merge the threads? (Honestly, I thought I did a thorough search...)

Not waiting on anything in the mail, but I am waiting until my next trip to Cincinnati (next weekend) - I'm thinking of picking up an Iroshizuku blue (Kon-Peki?) and maybe trying out a Diamine.

Sample Request: I really really want to try Diamine Steel Blue. I will trade you samples!

I am waiting for Kiwaguro Nano Carbon. It is the first pigmented ink that I have seen that doesn't have disclaimers posted all over the internet. Hoping it meets my expectations, if it does, it will beat out Namiki blue as my book writing ink.

I'm waiting for a whole bunch of ink samples (mostly Noodler's) that I ordered the other day. I ordered from Goulet Pens and Brian just sent me an e-mail saying that my order has shipped.
