Two packs of Parker Penman Ruby carts.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

After hardly buying any ink over the long cold winter I went a little bananas with the Goulet ink sample sale. Robert Oster is a name I've been hearing for a while and I thought I should finally get around to checking some of those out.

Maroon 1789, river of fire, school blue, bronze, blue water ice, fire and ice, astorquiza rot, and tranquility. I also have Monteverde horizons blue and charoite and a bunch of others from noodlers and some of the new Platinum Classic Iron Gall ones in that same order.

And I have actual bottles of Iroshizuku Shin Kai and Sailor Miruai coming in from amazon. These should keep me busy for a while.

Send help..

The praise of the praiseworthy is above all rewards.

Went back for more samples from the Goulet sale before it ended. A sample pack of Monteverde Gem Stones is on the way.

Went a little overboard... :D I finally got around to check the Pelikan 4001 series inks. As I pretty much solely use only vintage Pelikans nowadays I thought why not Pelikan inks then? :) The reviews seemed very favorable, colors nice and I found a place that sold the 62.5ml bottles for 8€ a pop. So I ordered:

3x BB

1x Turquoise

The store gave me a nice discount so the whole package was 35€ including shipping.

Will be mixing some turquoise to the BB to turn it ever so slightly to the shade I am used to with my previous "signature" mix of vintage Montblanc BB + Caran d'Ache Hypnotic Turquoise and water... can't wait! :)

Two bottles of Kana-cho Midnight from cool-japan, ordered it last evening and already got the shipping confirmation.

Aargh! Ordered a bottle of Noodler's Red Black, too. Down to the last of the 10 ml sample I got from Vanness last year. Going take a long time to go through 3 oz.

My third bottle of pelikan edelstein smoky quartz.

I found an amazon seller hawking it for $17/bottle. Bought his last two, then one more when he restocked.

I wasn't a huge fan, but now I am.

Selling a boatload of restored, fairly rare, vintage Japanese gold nib pens, click here to see (more added as I finish restoring them)

Bungubox (Sailor) Sweet Potato Purple and 88 Green Tea.

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

For the first time in more than a year, I have a bottle ink in the mail: I finally decided to buy a bottle of the new purple sparkly ink from J Herbin.
