Well, not really waiting for... When I was in Stockholm for a weekend trip last weekend, I picked up a bottle of Shin-kai at NK. Now I just have to empty a pen...

Iroshizuku Ina Ho, finally! It will be some time before I get it though.

Finally, they arrived. Six little soft packs of total excitement!

Until a few hours ago it was a box of inks from Krishna inks in India. They notified me my package had been delivered on April 4 & wanted to make sure all bottles were without leakage or breakage. I had not received any package & a reply from them reassured me the tracking merely indicated their shipper "delivered" the package in the US to FedEx, so I was relaxed. The box was on my front porch tonite & I happily can report, MANY bottles of ink came in their new glass bottles, inside paper boxes, packaged inside 6 cardboard boxes, ALL bundled & packed securely inside a larger cardboard box!

Nary an ink was damaged, NONE leaked & I foresee a week of excitement trying them out. I have already succumbed to two & will try to restrain from filling many more pens tonite.

MANY thanks to mehandiratta for introducing these inks to us & for Dr. Sreekumar for creating them; The Pen World team has done a marvelous job of executing their dispatch to a faraway destination.

Which website did you order from? I went to their website and could not order anything. It doesn't 'add to cart' - the tab doesn't work. In the shop, all the inks aren't even listed. Only some nine are.

I ordered from THE PEN WORLD website & understand what you have encountered when trying to order. I had ordered last year, after establishing an account & received my order without issue, (some leakage but nothing major & all the inks were then in plastic bottles, which may have contributed.)

This time I "logged in," yet couldn't get the shipping address to accept USA as "country" for my shipping address; I emailed them & they replied they were no longer using the website for international orders. They asked me to request my choices in an e-mail, upon receipt, they would give me costs & shipping quote. I did & they responded with what I felt were quite acceptable shipping charges. (If I remember last year, I believe the shipping charges were greater than this time; perhaps I ordered more inks & the cost seemed less for the quantity of inks purchased.)

It seemed like a complicated way to order, but it was not a problem when I wanted the inks. The site does, as you mention offer perhaps less colors than previously & I was sorry to discover the original ink colors are no longer available. BUT the new colors are as interesting as the previous ones & the three I have since sampled are all worth the effort to purchase them.

I suggest sending them an e-mail, describing your difficulty in ordering & I believe they will make it possible for you. I think their customer service is quite good.

Correction, :gaah: a senior moment... the ink is Cassia/Black not Sepia/Black.

Still waiting on the Berning Red. But now I ordered a Little Red noteBook (a Rhodiarama) to go with it. 😁
