The replacement order arrived yesterday and my granddaughter was quite excited by the prospect of purple ink.

 Glad for you both.

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from The Writing Desk.

I'll be expecting a bottle of Diamine 150th Safari, a 30 ml bottle of Diamine Amaranth, another small one of Diamine Amazing Amethyst, and finally a bottle of R&K Scabiosa.

Having behaved myself and limited my inks to, what I thought was the perfect number, I really didn't want to order any more. But...

I had to (I mean had to) order a bottle of KWZ Iron gall Red # 3. B)

To 'justify' this purchase, I'll be selling off an untouched bottle of Akkerman # 10 IG Blauw-zwart.

Pens: Conid Kingsize ebonite (x2)
Inks:
KWZ Dark Brown / KWZ IG Orange / Diamine Chocolate / Diamine Burnt Sienna / Diamine Ochre / Monteverde Scotch Brown

Just arrived today (thought I had to wait a bit more): Sailor Chu-shu (which has no pen to go in until my Scriptorium gets back in August) and Sailor Doyou (I've heard interesting things about this, may have a go with a dipped Osmiroid nib).

I bought two bottles of Robert Oster ink at the 2016 Dallas Pen Show. They have behaved well, so I'm going to explore the lineup a bit more. To that end:

Bottle - Robert Oster Fire & Ice
Sample - Robert Oster Astorquiza Rot,Gold Antiqua,Australian Sky Blue,Tranquility,Spearmint
Also, because I keep coming back to my sample with a joyful feeling: Bottle of Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-budo
I mentioned I was making an order to my sister, who I managed to pull into the hobby last month, and she requested two bottles:
Diamine Red Dragon
Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-peki
Both of her ink interests are from samples from my collection. I only had a sample vial of the Kon-Peki, so I might try and get a sample back from her.... someday. I think those Robert Oster ink samples will take up my time for quite a while.

Why do they have little wicks sticking out the top? Are you planning on writing an explosive exposé?

I think they look like inky birthday candles.

Four 2ml samples:

KWZ Maroon

KWZ Grey Plum

FPN Dumas Tulipe Noire

MontBlanc Leonardo Red Chalk

The last two are either hard to find, expensive to buy or expensive to ship, so in a way I'm hoping I don't like them too much!

This order will hopefully scratch all my ink itchings for a while (but I've said that before  )

Pens: Conid Kingsize ebonite (x2)
Inks:
KWZ Dark Brown / KWZ IG Orange / Diamine Chocolate / Diamine Burnt Sienna / Diamine Ochre / Monteverde Scotch Brown
