I just ordered a bottle of Sheaffer Skrip Blue-Black on sale from Goulet Pens, along with a sample of Diamine Monaco Red and Noodler's Blue-Black. :) Can't wait! I like Quink Blue-Black, but it's not dark enough for me. Hopefully the Skrip or Noodler's will fit the bill.

I have made a resolution to not purchase any more inks or pens until at least the end of October, unless a really really sweet deal comes by on a vintage flex pen. So, it was my final gift to myself to help me get through the next ten months! :lol:

 

We'll see if I actually make it! LoL!

Waiting on several Noodler's:

 

Polar Blue

Hunter Green

 

I'm really excited about them since these will be the first bulletproof inks I'll get to try out in my life.

In some things in life it's better to take a Zen approach. If you think too much you won't achieve your goal, wheras if you don't think and let yourself go, it shall be achieved with ease. I find this helpful in writing, kendo and music.

Platinum Pigmented Sepia. I have not seen anyone write it up yet so I hope it works out, supposed to be a permanent ink as well :)

I was waiting for a bottle of vintage 40s Parker Quink I ordered off Pendemonium, but it came today so I'm not waiting for it anymore. My BCHR Conklin crescent filler also came today, so I figured, what the hell, lets try my vintage ink out in my vintage pen. Both are performing well.

On its way is some Black Swan in Australian Roses and a Nooder's flex pen to go with it.

I came here for the pictures and stayed for the conversation.

I just ordered my first fountain pen last week (Pelikan m600 waiting in my mailbox now!) and since then I've ordered one for my wife (Aurora Style)and another for myself (Lamy Safari). The inks which will fill these pens are PR Arabian Rose, Plum, Velvet Black, Copper Burst, and American Blue. After a little research I figured I needed a waterproof ink for my lab notebook so I ordered Noodler's Bad Blue Heron. I'm going to have to control myself from stopping at the university bookstore and buying some ink so I can use my pen before my ink that's in transit arrives. Patience...

Noodler's Ottoman Azure.

 

I generally like waterproof inks, but I love turquoise, so I want to try this out.

Fountain pens ~ a stream of consciousness flowing effortless onto paper.

Just posted a review of it. I need to get some other brands, as it has a wide interpretation of colors.

With the new FPN rules, now I REALLY don't know what to put in my signature.

I'm waiting on a nice big bottle of Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses, and a sample vial of Noodler's Blue Ghost from Goulet's. I also added one of Noodler's Ivory Darkness flex pens to my order, (really couldn't help myself, fountain pens are addictive!)

A few colors of the Pilot Iroshizuku inks. Looking forward to trying these out. Based on the reviews I think I will be very happy!

I think for the first time in many years, I'm not waiting on any inks. I can't find any others I don't have, and there are a few that I don't want (like Noodler's Russian and UK series--although I do have 150 other Noodler colors).

 

Well that didn't last very long. I should have known not to post such a ridiculous statement.
