Purple can be thought of as blue plus red, so to make the ink bluer, add some anti-red -- which would be cyan. In ink terms, mix a greenish blue with your purplish blue, and the result should be a deeper, truer blue than either of the "parent" inks.

One of the cyan-designated colors is Noodler Navajo Turquoise. There are several other near-colors from various manufacturers that might be a better mixer with your purplish blues. Please research your particular inks to find out what might be a safe greenish-blue to use for mixing. (Or, particularly, what might be an UNSAFE ink.)

Oops, didn't see the reference to Diamine -- well, that's the manufacturer. And I believe a post crossreferenced Noodler Navajo Turquoise with a Diamine ink. So, ...

From a person's actions, we may infer attitudes, beliefs, --- and values. We do not know these characteristics outright. The human dichotomies of trust and distrust, honor and duplicity, love and hate --- all depend on internal states we cannot directly experience. Isn't this what adds zest to our life?

The addition of cyan isn't likely to give you a bright, intense blue. The "anti-red" would mix with the red

part to make grey, which is why the blue will be darker. The more colors mixed together, the less intense

the result is likely to be. Red + green gives a grey or brown color.

If you mixed Noodlers Legal Lapis (cyan-tinged) and Violet Vote (aka Iraqi Indigo), you get Lapindigo.

It is a deep blue.

You could also add just a little of a blue leaning green, such as Diamine Woodland Green, or PR Sherwood green. If you try a more yellowish green, the result will be more muddy.

If there is one thing I learned from art at school it was that all colour mixes eventually become brown

So, keep those other inks as they are and use them up for writing rough notes, drafts and stuff you don't want to keep and one day you may find you actually quite like those colours. I do tend to vary my second favourites over time, and enjoy re-discovering colours and inks I had drifted away from.
