Very nice.

Could you comment on the type of oblique nib. Right or left. Whether you are a right or left hander. How the rightness or leftness of the oblique makes you change how you hold the nib to the page or not.

That green ink is cool.

I use cursive italic pens, but never an oblique.

Thank you, the green ink I mixed up myself to match the project I was working on, I was really pleased how it came out, it has some gold in it.

My oblique pen is right handed. Not sure of how LEFT Handed person would use the pen. I imagine there is a left handed oblique pen, but I am not familiar with it.

Now I am curious, tomorrow, up in my art room, I shall review the names of the inks. I am in North California, and I am the same age as you. I never did get around to filling out my info, just found the site, and I do enjoy penmanship. Is you avatar a picture of your own art work?

The Ink! Yes you made me curious, so here is the answer, and probably unattainable.

I have a bottle of Sanford's PENit GREEN (fountain pen ink) 10 cents Where in the world I came into possession of this ink, I have no idea. It was very thick and I thinned it with Perlescent liquid acrylic "Mazuma Gold"

I agree, it is a fabulous color and it really flowed perfectly on my DIPPED pen point.

pretty The scan really did it justice. The black ink scan does not show the real delicacy of the calligraphy.

I do like pearlescent ink and I like to blend it with other inks. But not in a fountain pen, it would jam it up.

It really came out well, I was so happy with the color and beauty.

Too bad we can't bottle it! Darn!

Thank you for the compliment,

Tremendous work! My compliments.

DRP, Angeldust, and Pacific coast pen,

Thanks you so much for your kind words and praise. It's difficult as I am a bit (HA!) of a perfectionist. It is very nice to share with other writers.

Here's a scan of my oblique pen, so the answer to the question for Pco, you can see the point goes off to the left, but it is a right handed pen.

I am so glad I found this site. Great to participate.
