Tanesiir, I did try. Of course, if I did it again I would change a few around - but it did take a few hours and I think that I will leave it a few years!!

Personally I would have cheated and done them in whatever order and then photoshopped them in the "correct" one :)

One interesting point. When I check Diamine Imperial vs Majestic Blue from The Writing Desk web store samples, Majestic Blue looks somehow lighter. On your scan on the other hand it seems darker. Of course I might just be confusing between saturation and darkness. Any opinions?

I really should turn topic notification off. I am supposed to be working! Majestic blue is definitely quite a bit darker. It is also very saturated and has a red surface element to it. You will see if you look at the ink reviews of it. Imperial blue isn't that dark. Its a bit darker than Florida Blue but has a purple tinge to it. If you have come across Berol handwriting pens it seems to be a dead-ringer for their blue (my daughter uses Imperial blue in her fountain pen at school).

Wow, this is some fabulous work. I love ink scans that include the q-tip swab. So helpful in determining shading.

Thanks again :clap1:

Wow! Only just saw this post, how useful! I've got a shopping list for new inks based on it already :) Thanks for the effort!

I don't know I missed this before. It's a very handy (not-so) little chart. Thanks =)

GreenVelvet, I only have two Experts! There was a LOT of cleaning of pens that day! Although I have a few more inks I'm not likely to update the chart any time soon - it's too much effort!

Wow, that must have taken you hours... I dislike cleaning pens enough that I could never do it this way. I admire your patience and perseverance!
