Four Fountains For Fun

Recommended Posts

I've been a long time reader, but have been waiting until I had some decent photos to post of fountains I've made.

These are 4 fountains I made for an art show at my workplace. From left to right these are:

Buckeye Burl baron fountain

Jade el grande fountain

Olive wood & Ebony el grande fountain

Padauk baron fountain

These were a lot of fun to make and I hope to eventually produce some less kit-oriented pens that are actually successes. But for now until my technique improves I'm having fun with these! I always value comments, opinion, or tips as long as they are helpful!

Thanks for looking,

Very nice. I like the olive & ebony in particular. I am very glad you're enjoying it - I just came in this evening from doing some (deep breath) ball points  .

But please, please could you have pity on those of us with dial-up connections, and use slightly smaller pictures? Could you post pics with a max 800 pixels in any direction - preferably approx 650. That picture took 7 minutes... Almost long enough to stew my tea.

Regards,

Richard.

Nice! Are they all piston fillers?

I came here for the pictures and stayed for the conversation.

Wow! you made them? Too small looking for my taste, but the finish is awesome

I sing to your volcanoes, to your meadows and flowers, that are like mementos of the greatest of my loves;

If I am to die away from you, may they say I am sleeping, and bring me back home.

Thanks for the nice words, and I apologize for the large photo size, I thought I had uploaded the smaller version and must have picked the wrong one.

All four are cartridge or piston converter fillers.

Very nice job. I really like all 4, but I if I had to choose, one, it would be the 2nd one.

Nice work. I like the green one the best, but they are all pleasing
