My new Montegrappa 1930 Extra Bamboo Black that I traded my Edson for a few days ago

Nigel

That's a sweet pen...but I don't know if I'd give up my Edson for it.....

I'm not a native speaker of the english language. My apologies in advance when I'm causing trouble by bad grammar, wrong vocabulary, misspelling - friendly correction always welcome!

Would you believe an olive Parker 45? Proletarian, I know, but it writes like a dream. And (of course) I keep it filled with Skrip Green...

My sweetheart has dark green eyes and for my next Nakaya I have only gotten as far as working out it will be green.

I hope she never thinks to ask me about that sweet little blue platinum celluloid.

My jade green Duofold. What a great pen, no matter how much I write it doesn't balk at me. It only acts up when fed ink that's a bit too free flowing, as it is a wet writer.

Hey Ledzep girl, you really look like the late, great Frank Zappa!

My only green pen is an Underwood (London) Piccadilly Eco that I purchased from Deirdre. It's a wonderful little pen. I'd like to acquire some more green pens. I've been eying the Aurora Optima in green auroloide  .

The green Optima is a fine pen. I'll be getting a replacement eventually.

Here's the Underwood's bigger brother, the Piccadilly Stylo:

The only two green pens I have are a Waterman Phileas and a vintage Hero 616: the Hero is (Potty Mouth), so it's the Phileas.

I've seen the Stylo and think it's beautiful. I'll probably get one eventually.

I think my green Esterbrook is a LJ, bit I'm not certain. I polished it with Reanaissance Wax and it's just a gem. I usually carry it with a Signature Stub (9284) (some people call it a music stub) It holds quite a lot of ink and just feels nice.

Nothing as fancy as most pens here, but I love my old, beaten-up green Tombow. Now that Oxonian has repaired the nib, it's also back in service.

This, I think, might be my favorite green pen.

It's a Targa 1086 by Sheaffer.

Mine, too. The green ronce Targa and green swirl Targa are neck-and-neck (or is that nib-and-nib?) for second place. Don't have their numbers. :happyberet:

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.
    • Ceilidh
Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
