Moving right along... Fellowship Pen Price!

I haven't been checking in on this forum (medical issues of my own with an upcoming biopsy, not to mention hubby's cancer), so I've missed this thread. I definitely want one with an RS nib.

I got you down Deirdre. Hope you guys are doing better :-)

I am now confused as to whether I want the regular (stiff) F or regular (stiff) EF.

Kevin, is the XF like a western F?

I just read on another thread that the stiff nibs will have the flaming dharma (?). I will not insist but am hoping for the T nib.

But F or EF, that is the question...

oops, sorry for the confusion. Nib choices are:

Stiff F, stiff Stub (might be able to get some stiff M and stiff BB with "T" as They are phasing these out)

Flexy EEF, EF, F, M, B, Stub. Due to the flex, they tend to run wider so think flexy EEF more like western EF etc.

You didn't confuse me, Kevin; I just wondered all of a sudden, F or EF?!

But since the smallest stiff size is F, then I'll stick with my original decision: Stiff F.

Whew! That was easy!

Thanks, Kevin!

Things should calm down in a few days after Rick's surgery. We hope.

I want one... but at this point I'll have to wait and see how the $$$ is going to play out. Can't wait to see the finished result. Maybe I'll have to go with the lay away plan. Or, ethernautrix can just buy it for me. :P.

I would like to join in please. No. 60* on the list, nib to be decided but most likely a flexy stub.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of nothing at all...

I guess we all have to become a number at some point. :)

Only ten times what it should be, too.

Hi Kevin. thanks for this wonderful opportunity. And many thanks to all those amazing artisans at Dani Trio. And for a ditherer like me, it's great to be 'told' that this is the pen you must have, rather than agonising about which pen to choose.

I definitely will buy one.

Probably with an flexy EEF nib.... When do we have to make the nib commitment?

Would you like any money now as a deposit?

My birthday is 13 September. So that's another sign I must have one, isn't it?

Thanks Jon and Miranda. got you both down.

As for nib committment, you can wait until the prototypes comes out later this month to decide up until the actual delivery I can still change the nibs for you.

No deposit is necessary. Thanks again.

Kevin

Is anyone else having a hard time waiting to see the prototype? I have been sitting on my hands for about 2 weeks now! I am going to struggle to patient enough.

I am getting curiouser and curiouser, but I don't really mind the wait. It allows me to feel I am getting a genuine handcrafted work of art. It is not like waiting a whole year for a Hakasa pen.

Good point. I'll have to keep that in mind. In all reality though, I do enjoy the waiting- it is a kind of delayed gratification that makes the moment of experience all the sweeter.
