All this birthday talk is making me anxious. Kelley's birthday is in August and she will no doubt like the pen. :headsmack: I don't know how she feels about clipless pens though, so my vote goes for Clipless.

What a great idea. A number on the pen according to our name list.

I am #33 on the list.

Didn't realise that the pen comes in both clip and clipless.

Kevin, I need a clip. (Flexy EEF)

Thanks

Ernest

I'm pretty sure that Kevin mentioned that this pen will not have a clip or numbers.

Correct.

You're ok, Chris. We're all caught up in a good thing here, and we are ALL getting very excited! If there isn't hope for you, I'm in some very serious trouble...

In one of the initial posts I asked Kevin if there was a way to get a clip on the pen. He talked to DT, and they said they would make about 45 without a clip, and 5 with a clip.

I'm sure that will fluctuate based on the actual firm orders.

Sorry for the late reply.... OK, I have worked with the manufacturer, and yes, small quantity will have gold color clip for those who needs a clip. The placement of the clip will be tricky as you don't want it over the Haiku on the cap. I will make sure this is taken care of. If you needs a clip, please email me at: internetpens@gmail.com. The pen is octagon in shape and will come with kimono pen pouch and pen rest, so rolling off a table should not be an issue (unless you REALLY want it to roll off a table. LOL)

So, if you did not put a clip option, I will assume it's going to be clipless, to me it's more zen (but that's just me)

Unless you indicates otherwise, "stub" will be flexy stub (yes, stiff stub is available by special request). Danitrio has make the flexy stub to be their "regular, standard" stub (RS) since they are so pupular and make stiff stub "SS" now as special order nib. This is effective immediately. Thanks.

Would a stiff stub be an extra cost on the Fellowship pen?

Take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly, and try another. But by all means, try something.

Kevin, how long will it take to actually make up the entire order? How much time do we have before the entire order is delivered to you?

Realistically the pen will start arriving August in batches as even Super Kosetsu san can't do all 50 pens at once. In less than 24hrs I have 36 firm yes on this pen with still alot more I have yet to answer both emails and PMs (extremely slow with PMs). So we can safely say that we should be able to quickly move first 50 pens without problem. As for lay-away, you can take as much time as you need, and like I said, firm committment is all I need.

Best,

kevin

Hi Kevin,

thanks for driving this and making all this happen ! Looking forward to this fellowship pen as my Bday present :roflmho:

good God, both you and Jopen have B-days in August?? The pressure is on!!!

Kevin

Good call! I have a late August B-day! I was looking for a reason to justify the purchase! :)

PS... Are the pens going to be numbered?

No Extra cost. They will have smaller quantity in stock since the flexy stub out sold the stiff ones.

I haven't been checking in on this forum (medical issues of my own with an upcoming biopsy, not to mention hubby's cancer), so I've missed this thread. I definitely want one with an RS nib.

I'll be in the Instant Gratification Club. See, my mother's birthday is August 1, and for her birthday, she would like me to be happy. See how that works? Aren't Moms the best?

Ohmygod, I'm pimping my mom out for a pen. I need an intervention.

LOL. I like the way you think... let's see...

OK, my son's B-day is in August, and he is such a bright young boy, it is only natural that he would want me to buy this pen, so that one day he will inherit this pen. Not to mention daddy will be in such a good mood getting a new pen, he will for sure buy him more toys.... yup, that work! LOL

Kevin

If I tryed that, I would be sleeping in my truck! :roflmho:

Since my birthday is in Nov, and I am trying to learn patience, I will peacefully be on layaway. But Kevin knew that already! :roflmho: :roflmho: :roflmho: :roflmho:

Another November baby here!! WOOHOOO!!! LOL
