Kevin, how long will it take to actually make up the entire order? How much time do we have before the entire order is delivered to you?

Realistically the pen will start arriving August in batches as even Super Kosetsu san can't do all 50 pens at once. In less than 24hrs I have 36 firm yes on this pen with still alot more I have yet to answer both emails and PMs (extremely slow with PMs). So we can safely say that we should be able to quickly move first 50 pens without problem. As for lay-away, you can take as much time as you need, and like I said, firm committment is all I need.

Best,

well, my birthday isn't until September 11, so there is some pressure relief... :)

not that birthdate matters nearly as much as layaway plan payoff date.

Well, mine is in the latter part of July. I suppose I can force myself to have patience until August.

Don't feel any PRESSURE ... please... it has to take as much time as it needs... the result will be the rewarding part!!!

True, that.

I'm happy it is happening at all. If I had to wait until the holidays I wouldn't be upset. This is just too nice a process to be involved in. Everyone has been terrific, and Danitrio has really gone all out for us. I cannot complain in any way, shape or form.

Kevin,

Thank you for all the upfront work and strategy with Danitrio on our behalf.

I appreciate your efforts, but need to say that I cannot participate or commit to purchasing this pen. I write as one who is on the fellowship list to give you specific response so you know who is in and who isn't.

Thanks,

Bruce

Thanks for letting me know Bruce.

At this point 50 pens will be made, and I will advice them to do them in 2 batches, this way the folks who use lay-away plan would feel less pressured. Thanks to all for the overwhelm support on this project... now we wait for the prototype to arrive end of May :-)

Best,

Kevin

I'll be in the Instant Gratification Club. See, my mother's birthday is August 1, and for her birthday, she would like me to be happy. See how that works? Aren't Moms the best?

Ohmygod, I'm pimping my mom out for a pen. I need an intervention.

LOL. I like the way you think... let's see...

OK, my son's B-day is in August, and he is such a bright young boy, it is only natural that he would want me to buy this pen, so that one day he will inherit this pen. Not to mention daddy will be in such a good mood getting a new pen, he will for sure buy him more toys.... yup, that work! LOL

If I tryed that, I would be sleeping in my truck! :roflmho:

Since my birthday is in Nov, and I am trying to learn patience, I will peacefully be on layaway. But Kevin knew that already! :roflmho: :roflmho: :roflmho: :roflmho:

Hi Kev,

Regrettably, I too cannot commit to buying one of these beautiful pens, much as I would like one. I will continue to enjoy the progress notes on the pen and since I know someone who *will* be buying one, will enjoy looking at it when he gets his.

Thanks for the "thanks," but my motivation is purely selfish. ;)

I hope I am not opening a can of worms here, but Belan asked for a pen without a clip. Is that choice a viable option? I would like mine without a clip as well if it is optional.
