If you still have some difficulties for ordering at Rakuten, do let me know. Maybe I can help.

I am going to ask FPN Admin if we can have a FPN forum for just you and me

(the editing was just to fix a typo ...dont want any of you getting excited and thinking it was something 'saucy' ...behave yourselves!!)

It looks like all these Kobe inks are available on eBay at the ebay store called "GoGo Japanstyle" or user ID "Cool-Japan"

I have not purchased from them yet, So I can not coment , but I am thinking of their Sepia

The listings look nice & they say they are working to help rebuild Japan's 2011 earthquake damage.

Very nice inks (and good photos of them)!

I don't think you can carry ANY in your carry-on luggage. There are still restrictions on bringing liquids in cabin, aren't there? So, why not just get a small bag to check in, and fill it with ink bottles? I brought four bottles of Iroshizuku last month--in checked luggage--with no problems. Weight should be the only concern.

I have carried on FP ink multiple times. Usually just a single bottle of Waterman black, which I keep inside two ziploc bags. Small liquids are OK it seems. For flights in the US, guidelines are here: http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/3-1-1-carry-ons I've also carried on a bottle of ink flying in/out of Korea, Taiwan, and Japan.

I recently bought 3 bottles of ink from them. Very good experience and they did have a "combined shipping" rate for multiple items. And the prices were very competitive. So can recommend them!

I have several of their inks from Cool Japan via eBay...great service, wonderful inks.

the Rokko green and Maya Lapis are big favorites of mine...this reminded me to order more!

I looked at the Rakuten page and noted a Sailor pen with Kobe on the nib...looked like 126,000¥ price...wonder if that is still available? I am asking Cool Japan if he can get one for me...
