Levenger L-Tech

Can anybody help with my question?

According to the Levenger web page the L-Tech 3.0 comes with a converter so you can use any bottled ink you like. It seems the L-Tech uses the international short cartridges so the Sailor cartridges should not work.

For all those that are interested in this pen: I was just searching the Levenger site and found that the L-Tech 3.0 is in the Outlet with 29% off, but only in two colors. If you buy before may 2 you can use the promo code OUTLET4 to get an additional 20% off.

I'm getting one of these from mass drop. My question: what sort of cartridge does this take? Would this work?

Sailor Sailor Cartridges - Black (set of 12) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001GR4BJM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_Pynjxb372H7CA

And for ink experts, is this the same black that comes in the bottle that everyone raves about? Is the Jentle line different?

The Sailor cartridges will not work but any international cartridges will like Diamine, Pelikan, Diplomat, Visconti, etc. as well as Levenger's own and they have some pretty nice inks.

Sailor cartridges are only for Sailor pens.

Since the reviewer called it a standard c/c system I assume they mean it takes standard international cartridges.

Edit: sorry for redundant answering.

I have the 2.0 and have decided that the pen, while substantial, is heavier when posted than I tend to like. I'm going to be using it as a tablet stylus and then I don't need to worry about ink drying out if I misplace the cap.

I like Sailor Jentle ink but Sailor cartridges are a proprietary size that I use in my Sailor. The L-Tech should take standard cartridges, so if you wanted Sailor ink you could use the bottled version with the converter that came with the pen.

Thanks for mentioning the ability to swap nibs with truwriter. I've had my L-tech for several years and like it, but my writing really struggles with the medium. Swapped it with a fine, and like it much better. Not sure why I never thought if it, but glad you did. Thanks again.
