Chesterfield ink?

The ugly bottle is not convenient to use. Here are my solutions / options from

the perspective of being a CHEAPSKATE .

1. Buy Diamine ink in Diamine bottles, and save money elsewhere.

2. Learn to live with the shortcomings of being a CHEAPSKATE.

:D I'm actually quite fond of the Nalgene bottles. They're great for travel and easily repurposed.

If you like the ink and not the bottles, wouldn't just pouring the ink into an old empty bottle of your liking be another option? :P Then you could continue being a Cheapskate with highly discounted Diamine inks.

I bought Chesterfield Night Saffire ink with a Nemosine pen. It's working well in that pen, after a little nib tweaking. It simply refused to flow consistently in a Sheaffer 444. My other experience with Diamine inks is positive (I'm really fond of Steel Blue), and the Chesterfield's color is nice and conservative for business writing. At the price, I'd do it again.

Chesterfield has four new antique inks out. They had a sale for $4 per 50ml bottle, so I picked them all up. Figured I'd post samples here in case anyone is interested. Sorry about the writing...I'm dip pen challenged.

These are stunning!!!!

Where did you get them, please?

Yes, I agree. I'm thrilled with all four. I got them from XFountainPens.com. They sell them in 25ml, 50ml, and 100ml bottles. Most of their inks are rebranded Diamine, but I'm not sure about the antique series (as I can't seem to find Diamine inks that are close to these).

Diamine... I am not sure about that. People keep repeating they are rebranded Diamine but, oficially, who says so? I like two of those and will be willing to try them. Wish they announced the sale of 50ml for $3.99 again. I would buy all

Another FPN user contacted XFountainPens about it a while back and they replied that they're made by Diamine. This was a while ago, though, so they may have expanded their sources. Here's the post:
