Mont Blanc Black Ink

This ink seems like a cousin to the Montblanc Oyster Grey - which I like. I want the black to be black though.

Actually, in the right pen, on some good paper, this ink is AMAZING! I just finished fixing up a Geha for an FPNer in San Francisco, and loaded it with this b/c it will be easy to wash out, and did a little coffee mug doodle (gotta find that actually) and I could get lights and darks, kind of like with a ball pen, depending on the pressure I use. Sure, it's just the pen laying out a little or a lot of ink, but the results were SO COOL!!

Personally, I think MB black in the "shoe" is too dense. Maybe I'm doing something wrong (don't know what it could be), but I swapped out the MB in my Maeisterstuck and replaced it with my favourite - Quink". Now my MB writes as good as a Waterman.

I'm a big fan of the MB inks, The black tends to go in my Lamy 2000 or an equally wet pen and does very well in terms of flow and density.
