Kevin, is it a big deal to have a clip added after the fact? I love the idea behind this pen, but I want my next Danitrio to have a clip (I sold the one of my 3 that that had a clip-a Densho).

I'm just wondering if this is the kind of thing they do with existing pens (Put a slit in the cap, slide the clip in, and screw it down).

Any idea?

Hmmm, I would assume because of the Haiku, without a clip would look better no? since it's octagon, rolling off the table is not likely as compare with round shape pen. But let's have a show of hands to see how many here would prefer a clip vs. without. I am just thinking... less complication, less money to make :-), but let's hear from you. Thanks.

Although I can't come to meetings, please include me in this delightful project!

I also agree to omit the clip.

Where did the name Danitrio originate? I don't recall ever reading any information along these lines. I'm really curious about this. :)

OK, I have told them... Octagon (smaller), clipless, Basho, happiness, Haiku, and some exotic urushi and let the artist run with it. We will try to maket this as affordable as possible as long as quality does not suffer! OK, we'll see what they come up with :-)

"I have told them... Octagon (smaller), "

Just how small are we talking here? For me the Densho was a near perfect size, and the Raden Snake is bordering on being too short.

Still liking the idea of "One More Dani".

Um... I want three clips.

No. I mean, I want a wrap-around clip.

But, yeah, okay, no clip is good.

:ltcapd: :ltcapd: :ltcapd: ... How do you have such original ideas??? :ltcapd: Lov'em!!!

Kevin; your recipe sounds perfect to me, and I agree with clipless. With the pen's philosophy a clip would disturb the whole shape and idea... Let's think Zen

Another vote for clipless. I have one clipless now, and I really prefer the smoother lines, unbroken by clip, and I do not usually clip a pen in my pocket.

Actually, I wasn't trying to sway the votes here, I was just looking at it from a personal standpoint. My next one (whatever that is) needs to have a clip, so that might push me away from this particular pen. I just wanted to know if Dani ever does that kind of work after the fact.

I can always live vicariously through the pictures that I'm sure Mava, Jopen, etc will publish.
