Woodex is a pen brand based in Hyderabad, Telangana State, India. Ebonite pens are colloquially referred to as "Wood" pens in the south, so the name Woodex is apt for a company that specialises in making ebonite pens. I am really impressed with the quality of their pens and outstanding workmanship. Here are a couple of pens that I purchased last month from them: Model 4: The stock nib is a no 35 from Kanwrite in F or M. Alongside my ever inked Deccan Advocate from 2004: The stock M nib from KW is quite good, I might switch in an identical OBB Stub from KW into the pen for daily use. Model 15: This is the smaller version of the Model 4. The Model 6 is similar but this is slightly fancier with a white dot on the cap top. The Stock nib is a no 5 from Ambitious tipped Fine. Compared to Deccan Advocate Jr, and Model 13(steel cap) An Indian no 5 nib is 25mm long, 7mm across and sits on a 4.75mm diameter ebonite feeder. The stock F nib is excellent but I need something wider and KW makes only upto B in no 5/5.5 so I have modified the pens section to accept a M200 nib unit. Compared to Mohi Aura: Both pens sport M200 nib units: I have purchased some more Woodex pens, will be showing them in this thread as they arrive. Cheers! Hari
