Hello fine folk of the forum! I found this at the flea market, it apears to be a vest pocket duofold, it is only slightly longer than my kaweco sport but I haven´t been able to find pictures of this pattern anywhere. I have seen some jack-knife models with these gold waves but this one has breather holes, an inner cap and the christmas tree feed. It came with a "Warranted 14k USA" nib which seems to be too small for the pen thouh it fits the feed nicely. The green section and brown tail cap would sugest they aren´t from the original pen buit they fit perfectly. Have you seen these before? Any aditional info is apreciated

Hello Folks, I haven't received this pen yet. It has "Original HB Bohler" inscription on the cap side but no HB jewel nor is it a flat top. From what i can see, the nib: WARRANTED Lions head insignia (Rupp) 14k 585 OSMIUM a circle with "30"-something- in it with a triangle on both sides and one below said circle. If anyone is a computer wiz and knows how to clarify and magnify photos... I'm told its a Super flex nib, pen of celluloid from the 1950's and needs to be re-corked but the piston works fine, also there are no cracks. Its body appears similar to an Osmia or Faber Castell c.1950. Also, most Bohlers i've had or seen have a Degussa nib. Could it be referring to the tipping material? Is anyone familiar with nibs stamped "OSMIUM" or can anyone id the pen model? Who would you trust to re-cork the pen? Thoughts on filling it with RODI water for a week then boiling some 100% silicone in water and let that sit to condition the cork-work? Many thanks-in-advance for your time and consideration.

So I found a battered, anonymous pen on eBay and, because I look for interesting nibs, I took a close look at the business end. What I saw was a dirty and ink-stained Warranted nib: a Music Nib. It wasnt cheap (by my lights) but they usually go for a lot more. When it gets here Ill see if it still works, and if it does I may drop it into one of my ringtops. Fingers crossed.

I bought an Eclipse pen on eBay and it just arrived. Warranted nibs were the go-to replacement nibs - you'll find them on every kind of pen, but once in a long while you'll find something like the instrument attached to this pen. It belonged to a professional calligrapher and it really truly does handle like a brush. Interestingly, I think I paid about two hundred dollars less for it than I would have if it were a Waterman of similar qualities...it's what the near-mythical Artist's nib is supposed to be like. I'll try to post some pictures when I get to a computer that will let me.

I bought this very pretty ringtop from Dan Strong, who is no novice about pens. He says it's a Moore, but I wonder. I have a few Moores, and most of them have barrel markings: this doesn't. It also has an "M" engraved on the lever box: all my others are plain. The nib is a replacement, so no information there. Does anyone have the solution to this mystery? It's a femme fatale of a pen, for sure.

Hi, I posted this on the general forum and was advised to go local! It's probably quite a lost hope but I was hoping some kind folk might help me to identify a lovely celluloid fountain pen I bought recently very cheaply. I suspect it's just a 'junk' pen but it's very attractive and blessed with a 14k warranted nib no. 6 which writes like a dream with flex xf - bb. It has no identifying marks at all except on the clip which offers me "pat no. 83573", which I suspect refers only to the clip type. It's a shortie at only 4.5" capped but it's such a sweetie it would be lovely to put a name to it. I'm new to pens, so hoping wiser heads might give me a clue. Couple of pics...

Hi. I need help to identify these pens. I have searched on the internet for some info but i didn't find any. The top one is a lever filler with "Skylark" written on the clip and a warranted 14k nib, and a broken sac. The lower one is a piston filler with Valero written on the cap and a Dauer Feder 12 nib. Is this something to worth fixing and keep? i got these and a unnamed pen with iridium point germany nib for about $12 Best Regards Pether
