Hi all, This is my first time using this site, and I am really hoping that you can help me. I am quite new to the fountain pen world, but have set out to see if I can fix or rebuild my Mum's Parker 65 (possibly Mrk 1) pen, which was given to her by my Dad during their early relationship-days. The pen broke (the filling system snapped) soon after she got it, and she has kept the pieces safe ever since. I have now disassembled it, see the images. The questions I have are: Is this a Mrk 1? I think it is, due to the grooves on the connector (see the image) Is it possible to buy a VP filling system, or is there something compatible I can use? I.e. a converter? I have found a new custom made converter for both the mkr 1 and mark 2/3. If I fit one of these collectors on the pen, do I then need to change the collector (the plastic thing inside the gripping part of the barrel)?. I really hope that you can help me, as this is a very beloved pen. I will be very grateful for any help you can give me All the best from Ida in Denmark
