I recently purchased my very first Visconti, a beautiful purple Rembrandt. It was love at first write, literally everything I had hoped it would be. And then, at work yesterday morning, it somehow rolled off my desk and I wasn't able to catch it in time. My beautiful pen literally came apart right before my eyes. I'm heartbroken. I'm hoping there's some way I can have it repaired, since the break was miraculously clean and the crack is almost invisible when the two halves are joined together, but I'm not sure if Visconti's repair service would cover it since the damage wasn't technically due to a design flaw. I've done some reading about solvent welding, but I'm not sure if that's the route I should go. I've attached some pictures of the damage. Is there any way for me to save my pen?
