Fuutreo 5" x 8" Notepads, great for fountain pen and UV inks.

I just got some great fountain pen friendly notepads off of Amazon: the "Fuutreo" brand. They come in 5 color variations with 12 colors in each set. I first ordered "Fresh colors", which reminds me of fall/autumn leaves and then ordered the "Soft colors" variant. I'm not exactly sure how the paper is produced, whether it is actually dyed a particular color first and then cut to size, or if it starts off as white paper and the paper is colored at the same time as when the blue and pink lines are applied. The paper seems to have a coating on it, so I think it's probably ink/toner on top of white paper. Some of the colors are on the darker side, but still usable. The paper handles fountain pen ink well with no bleed through to the other side. The first paper I tried was a coffee color pad from the "Fresh colors" set; the second was a purple pad from the "Soft Colors" set, and third was peach colored from the Fresh set. Another thing is how well that certain inks glow under UV light. The Noodler's E.L. Lawrence glows a nice green, sometimes it doesn't glow well on other papers, but definitely glows here. I also used Noodler's Blue Ghost which is invisible under regular light but glows under UV. The inks used for this were: Noodler's Heart of Darkness Black, E.L Lawrence, and Blue Ghost. I'm not sure if direct linking is allowed, so a search for "Fuutreo 24 Pcs 5" x 8" Legal Pad Writing Notepads Small Legal Pad" should get you to the Amazon page. Available in 12 ($24.99) and 24 ($34.99) packs, which might be overpriced, but still cheaper than Rhodia.
