Recommend, O paper lovers, an A5 journal for my daily writer. Cream or ivory paper. Not white. Prefer unlined, can tolerate faint dots. I can write straight without assistance, thanks. Rhodia has the kind of paper I prefer, in fact their webnotebooks are basically perfect but are essentially limited to black. And it is quite hard to find unlined ones. Tomoe River paper is too thin for my taste, I use it for letters but there's too much ghosting for a journal. I'm in the middle of my last Leuchtterm1917 journal. Great quality all around but also too much ghosting. I write with wet noodle nibs sometimes, and sketch as well as write. Just want a thicker paper. Hard bound. Of course must lie flat. Sewn not spiral binding. I do not tear out pages. I don't do "bullet journals" so don't require any of those extra things at all. Just blank please. Suggestions? When I google search all that comes up is Rhodia and Leuchtturm.

Need Suggestions For Bound, Unlined Fp-Friendly Journals
yumbo posted a topic in Paper and Pen Paraphernalia
I'm trying to get organized. A colleague of mine wrote this blog post on how she stays organized, and I think I'm going to try it. Question: Where would you get a big heavy bound journal like the one she describes, but with fountain pen-friendly paper? So many of the sketch books I've seen in art supply stores aren't suitable. Thanks. - Yumbo -
A4 Hardback Notebook With Fp Friendly Unlined Paper?
BookCat posted a topic in Paper and Pen Paraphernalia
Please help. All the fp friendly notebooks seem to be lined, or dotted, I'm looking for something with plain paper at least 90gsm (preferably heavier). I intend to use it as a handwriting 'project' by creating an 'illuminated' book, using marker pens, fine line markers, metallic acrylic paint and a flex pen (I find these easier to use than italic pens), so the paper needs to stand up to this. Art sketch books tend to have rough paper in them which isn't nice to write on. Availability in the UK is a must (online is fine), a pretty cover would be nice but isn't essential. Thanks in advance.- 10 replies
