    This is not a very helpful picture (1939) of Thomas Mann using a fountain pen but maybe some of you can help me narrow down the possibilities ... or know more about Mann's fountain pen(s)? To me it looks like a rather big pen, flat top, 30s Sheaffer "8" or Duofold Senior . . . Montblanc model 30? Thanks!
