Just picked up one of the two bottles of J. Herbin Stormy Grey the Pen Boutique www.penboutique.com located in Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, MD had in stock. They had just restocked the two bottles shortly before I arrived. Lucky timing on my part!

I haven't written a review or posted a new review in a while, so I thought I'd go a little beyond what I used to do (and enjoy my new scanner I got for digitizing old Kodachrome slides, which happens to also scan about ten times faster than my old one …) http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/xq90/540...

I think this is because, every time I shake it before filling, there is a tiny amount of time before the nib enters the ink...

So, I really like this ink, but there is one thing that is really, really irritating me - the bottle! I actually like the bottle, but did the neck have to be so darned narrow? The gold particles settle so very, very quickly and I've discovered that most of my pens won't fit in the narrow neck. It's...

It has arrived! J Herbin's Stormy Grey just popped into my email box as I was working; a delightful surprise from Goulet's mailing service. I don't think I've ever been so excited about an ink. Feel like a total nerd
