    Hi all I was just wondering how we can evaluate a nib on a few parameters: I just got a new pen , which is a very smooth writer but hard startup pen Looking at the nib against light , i cannot see a fussure or slit.Does this say someting ? Another issue that the nib cracks when putting the nib on paper and turning it slightly to the left and right. Could applying a slit paper between the tines a solution for the hard starter?
