    Hello, I have recently obtained a beautiful Sheaffer Legacy 1 fountain pen. It has a gold plated converter with pliglass ink sac that works well with the Touchdown mechanism of the pen. I have looked upon the Internet to find an additional converter for the pen. The only converters that I found were open on the side and had a push bar to squeeze the ink sac. What I`d like to know is: do these work with the touchdown mechanism, too? And is it possible to disassemble such converters and replace the ink sac? Greetings, Steffi

    Hi All, Recently I've collected a Sheaffer Legacy Heritage FP ,Black lac body,Palladium cap,Gold trim,18k inlaid M nib.The pen is used and still in excellent condition, but there is a small hair line crack on the inner cap.Though the cap is functioning perfectly and a clear click sound can be heard while posting the cap.Still I would like to know if the crack might cause any problem in future.Please help. Thanks.

    Hey everyone, I just bought a Sheaffer Legacy Heritage and I noticed it does not have any inscription as to where its made. This is different from my Sheaffer Prelude, which has the word USA written on the cap. Would anyone else know?

    Hi folks, yes, money arrived and I already spend half of it on my super cute Sheaffer Legacy. I do not know if this pen is worth it, but the feeling in my hand is definitely the best among all the pens I have ever tried. So excited, so so so so much. P.S.: since I have a new pen and a bunch of new inks, review is on its way...

    History Of The Legacy "fantasy"?

    During my roamings around the web the past few days I happened upon a beautiful Sheaffer Legacy "Fantasy" and I was just wondering if anyone knew the backstory to that/those beautiful pens?? I believe the barrel was turned by Franklin Christoff, but besides that little tidbit I am stumped for knowledge. Somewhere here on FPN, I spied a gorgeous orange acrylic barreled Sheaffer Legacy I, and I'm also wondering if there are other "Fantasy" versions out there in the wild? Are these even official Sheaffer releases? In any event, I'm completely mesmerized!

    Just saw some sheaffer legacy fountain pens sold by Amazon and found two different prices for the same model. Pictures are the same but one of them doesn't mention whether it is a heritage or legacy 1 or 2(should be Heritage). I asked amazon representatives whats the difference of two and why the price is different and they have no idea. Anyone knows what's going on?
