Hello, everyone... I've been using my Sensa fountain pen to sign my watercolor paintings, and it works very well. The paper I use is "rough", and it is difficult to find a compatible pen, but the Sensa has worked for me. However, sometimes I have paintings where the places to sign are very dark. The fountain pen, using Waterman Florida Blue ink, provides no contrast, and I need to use an opaque or semi-opaque white or very light ink, and that rules out the fountain pen. I have tried several dip pen nibs, but I haven't found one that works very well at all. I need to be able to write on the rough paper using the same motion as I do when I am signing a letter, for example. I don't use a "lettered" style for signing. But the nibs I have tried are too fine, and too flexible, and they get caught on the ridges and valleys of the paper. I've also tried the Speedball nibs that have a round but flat tip, and they get hung up also. I think I need a dip pen nib that is more like my fountain pen nib -- it is fine, but not hairline fine; it is not too flexible; and it has the typical fountain pen nib ball shape at the tip. I haven't seen a dip pen nib like that, so I am looking for some suggestions. Thanks in advance!
