    Can I Twist A Twist?

I recently received a Pelikan Twist I ordered. Very nice pen, but I have discovered the German notion of how and specifically where I should hold a pen section is at opposition to where my hand wants to hold it. I will not argue, nor am I the slightest bit interested, in which of us is "right". My question is, can I move the nib unit so that the slit is lined up with a flat section of the grip, instead of aligned to a point of the triangle as it is now. I have given it a moderate twist, without much affect, but I don't want to apply serious persuasion to it without knowing if that will ruin it. I can write, for short periods of time, with it as it is, but it would be a favorite if I could adjust the alignment. Any advice? thanks! C

Pelikan Twist: New Colors For 2016

I was looking at Pelikan's web page this morning, and noticed they have four new colors of the Twist fountain pen (and rollerball): BerrySpearmintBronzeJunglehttp://www.pelikan.com/pulse/Pulsar/en_US_INTL.Store.displayStore.151309./twist-fountain-pen http://www.pelikan.com/pulse/Pulsar/en_US_INTL.Store.displayStore.208384./twist-fountain-pen-classy-neutrals The previous colors are still shown, though many of them seem nearly impossible to find in stock. Has anyone seen the new colors for sale yet?
  3. Up for grabs: two beginner or student-level pens. First, the Pelikan Twist, in blue. Fun and oddball-looking little thing with typical Pelikan entry-level quality. Next...yes, you are not seeing things...THEE 'Snoopy' pen, of world renown. It's got a sorta kinda Montblanc-like thing on the plastic cap. The review of this pen is somewhere here on FPN, and also up on YouTube. http://extras.ourpatioparty.com/files/6714/3688/6931/Blue_pay-it-forward_640p.jpg Comes with original packaging. There will be two winners. Each winner gets one pen. No one who has won a PIF from me previously is eligible. Please respond here if you are a beginning user and collector of fountain pens and let me know why these appeal to you. USA addresses only, please. Give me your address through PM when your name is selected, or someone else gets the chance for Twist or Snoopy. Thanks!
