    Monteverde Artista Crystal

    I own a Monteverde Artista crystal and overall I have been very happy with the pen itself, I noticed that from time to time I have to twist the converter (which came with the pen) to force the ink in the feed in order to get the pen wetter again. I have flushed the pen completely but this has not improved the need to twist the converter from time to time to force ink in the feed. Has anyone experienced this with the Moteverde Artista? do you have any suggestions that would improve this? In terms of ink I am using a black Parker brand Quink

    Two demonstrators in roughly the same price range. Clearly, the 580 has the larger ink capacity, but how do they compare in terms of build, QC, and nib performance? Thanks!
