After considering what is best in terms of minimal wastage and maximum economy, I settled on 5 Folios per Signature. Used waxed polyester thread , flat type I quickly wrapped a pair of covers, using thin grey cards - only 1mm thin. This journal is meant to be a quickly made type of easy to use journal - as spartan as possible. No pocket No ribbon pagemarker. I aim to produce a mini-journal that is compact, efficient, small to carry around anywhere. The paper is fantabulous as reviewed in my post mentioned above... The achievement is that there is zero wastage in making the bookblock . So now , if you can find ink-friendly paper, you can produce such types of journals.
