Good afternoon folks I'm Jorge, a spanish guy who has been secretly reading and researching within the topics of this forum for 6 years or so...😅 - since I started getting in this whole thing of fountain pens, which is my way of living (forget about the word hobby; this is not that anymore 🤪). But the time has come to show up and be more active, in order to offer whatever I might add to this mix and, therefore, stop lurking around and get in touch with y'all. Hope you're all doing alright. See you in this pages Best regards!

Hello everybody, I just joined Fountain Pen Network after a recent joining of the fountain pen world. I've used cheap ballpoint almost all my life until earlier this year, when I saw some fountain pens at Office Depot and thought I would try it out. They were wonderful! Since then, I have purchased many pens. I am so glad I threw away all my old pens. (Pilot Ballpoints, a dime a dozen!) I am really looking forward to being a part of FPN. Thanks again!

Hello good members of FPN, I'm new to fountain pens, having purchased my first one a couple of months ago. Since then I've accumulated several more and many, many inks. The inks were what attracted me to the pens in the first place. I like to draw and became entranced by the colour range that goes far beyond anything available in drawing inks (which you can of course mix but...not to such delightful shades) I've lurked here while I accumulated items, using the fantastic amount of reviews and knowledge to get me started. I wanted to join up to say thankyou to everyone

Hi everyone, I'm a student (studying Mathematical Physics) living in Nottingham, England. I got into pens about 6 months ago when I was sorting through a deceased family member's things and was given a load of Platignums, a couple of Parkers and a Sheaffer. After cleaning them and using them in classes I was hooked. I won't have the money to buy any extremely fancy pens any time soon, but I'm really enjoying the pens I was given, and a few Jinhao/Hero pens I subsequently found on eBay. As an absolute novice, I look forward to learning a lot here. Regards, Matt

Good evening all. I got bit by the fountain pen bug a few months ago. To date, I've found two 51s, a 51 special, and a 25 in the wild. All of these are aeromatics. All but one was brought back to live in my kitchen. The other was restored and is my everyday pen. I've also got two very old Underwoods under repair. If, anyone has information on the Underwood Company, I'd be very happy to hear it. All the best, Bob
